How to Get to Greenbrier
How do you get to the Smoky Mountain Greenbrier area to start your fun and memorable day? From Gatlinburg, head East on Highway 321 and stay on it for 6 miles. Look out for a sign that points you to the entrance of the Greenbrier area. Finally, turn right on Greenbrier Road. The Smokies are known for their beautiful scenery, and you will see some of it on this drive! There is available parking at the trailheads of the hiking trails and at the picnic areas. Keep in mind that you’ll need a parking tag if you stay longer than 15 minutes! There are highly affordable daily, weekly, and annual options!
Hiking Trails Near Greenbrier

A great beginner trail is the Little Greenbrier Trail. It is 4.3 miles roundtrip and hikers can see the Walker Sisters Cabin. If you’re looking for something more challenging, conquer the Ramsey Cascades Trail. This route is 8 miles long and leads to a stunning waterfall.
