WELCOME TO SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

Attracts more than 12 million visitors each year

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most-visited national park in the United States, and it’s not hard to understand why. With a wide variety of wildlife, hundreds of different species of trees, more than 850 miles of hiking trails, and opportunities for fishing, camping, horseback riding and more, it’s no surprise so many people want to explore the park each year with all of the fun things to do in the Smoky Mountains.

And the best part about the National Park — it’s free for visitors to enter! It’s one of the few national parks that doesn’t charge an entrance fee — only visitors parking for 15 minutes or longer must pay for a parking tag. You'll have a blast exploring everything the park has to offer!
